It is with great sorrow that I must report that The United States is among the world's biggest markets for illegal wildlife goods – are here I would foremost mention elephant ivory and rhino horns. This business is booming and the only ones who don’t gain out of it are the animals themselves.

In the great state of Massachusetts, bill S.496/H.772 has been referred to the Joint Committee on Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture. To ensure that Massachusetts does not play a role in facilitating the trade in illegal ivory and rhino horns, it must vote in this crucial piece of legislation – the bill is meant to significantly restrict any movement of ivory and rhino horn parts.

Authorities designated with this issue lack the resources and motivation to visually compare the illegal ivory from the one that has been purchased with proper documentation. This is why ivory market places are such a big business opportunity – these illegal products can very easily be passed off as legitimate.

It is important to point out that at numerous conferences that have been held over the past few years, there have been increased call for leaders of world governments to take a stand against this trade; sadly, too little has been done up to this point.

Together we can make a difference with this bill, which would be a significant step towards ending this highly lucrative, yet shameful business.

Illegal ivory has no place in the state of Massachusetts! It takes only a couple of seconds to show your support and pursue the people in power to do the right thing.

Urge Massachusetts lawmakers to support S.496/H.772 to restrict the ivory and rhino horn trade in the state without further delay.

Help be a voice for all the wild animals that did not have the chance to a normal and decent life because of greedy and ignorant people. We have the power to make a difference for the future generation! Let’s show everyone Massachusetts is the most progressive and forward-thinking state in the US! Thank you for your interest in this matter.

Around 50 per cent of Adidas products are made out of polyester plastic – given the number of shoes and apparel the German giant makes each year, the quantity of plastic that is put into production is huge. However, over the past years, Adidas has tried to fix this issue – and we must commend them for tha...

Take no-deal Brexit off the table!

Brexit fatigue? Obviously, count me in. As a Remainer, I am well aware that revoking the infamous Article 50 will not be possible at this stage. As many political figures have pointed out, Brexit Means Brexit and I am reluctantly prepared to agree with the vote of the majority. However, what we can do is ensure this cou...
