We support the end of exploitation of countless elephants in India each week!

While authorities in Cambodia are taking action to protect the elephants against being used as entertainment props, the authorities in India are doing the opposite. Refusing to do anything about this situation means that handlers and the entire industry has been given a massive green light from the government, and they certainly do not waste any time in getting their business working.

We, the undersigned, strongly believe that elephants should be used to entertain people and urge the authorities to urgently address this issue, because India will remain a popular tourist destination even if elephants are not involved in any show.

For instance, one place where immediate action must be taken is at the infamous Ambert Fort in Jaipur; the elephants are overworked, they are compelled to live in very poor conditions and rarely receive medical attention; meanwhile, unsuspecting customers are directly supporting the uncaring owners by splashing up important sums of money for these shows.

Elephant rides and any entertainment activities involving elephants need to be outlawed without delay. It is obvious to everyone that teaching an elephant how to paint, climb walls, play with footballs or ride a bicycle is something completely ridiculous. There are so many other activists in which tourists can be enganged in! Time to leave the elephants out of it.

Kindly support my campaign to urge the the Government of Rajasthan as well as the rest of India to ban elephant rides once and for all. We pledge not to visit the great country of India until our demands met. Thank you!
