The Amazon is burning - those responsible must be held accountable!

The Amazon forest, one of the most majestic places on Earth, is burning for weeks now and there seems to be a very relaxed attitude about the problem in Brazil. The President ordered the mobilization of troops in the area weeks after the wild fires had started - this could have been easily prevented, had action been taken earlier.
According to multiple reports, the fires were started by people looking to clear the land and profit off of it. We find this unacceptable! But even more disturbing is the fact that these people went ahead, knowing that the new president, Mr. Bolsonaro, couldn't care less about the environment, they felt empowered by this idea and his is what happened as a result of their careless and bold actions.
These matters effect every person on the Planet, because the Amazon is often referred as the lungs of the Earth.
We demand nothing more that accountability in this extremely important issue. Those responsible must face justice and the President of Brazil must change course on his policy regarding the environment. Failing to take this issue seriously in the near future could have extremely negative consequences for all of us.
