Coco was an adored 8-month-old pug; she was left with a pet sitter while her owners were away for a week-end. Someone broke into the house and without waking the sitter, threw little Coco over a fence multiple times. The poor dog was unable to escape.
While the perpetrator has been apprehended and indicted, we must apply as much pressure on the authorities to ensure the judicial system imposes a strict penalty in this case. Will you take action and be a voice for Coco?
Coco was a beautiful and happy dog, her family said she would run to meet you at the door every time. So it's likely that Coco didn't realize this was a break in and just went to meet the man at the door. He didn't want to get caught so simply dispatched the puppy and threw him over the fece afterwards. He had no remorse whatsoever. Coco’s body was discovered by neighbours the following mourning; everyone in the area loved Coco. It was also reported that the offender had also mugged a woman in a nearby park, running away with a purse; it is obvious such people should not be handed a slap on the wrist and certainly can’t allowed to be roaming the streets freely; they have no respect for anyone, including animals and elderly people, the backbone of every society.
It is extremely sad to point out that Coco’s owners were expecting their first child, a baby that Coco was eager to meet. Sadly, he never got the chance to do so, which is so unfair and regrettable.
Here is what Ms. Vuksan, Coco’s owner, had to say about this sad situation: She was our family, she was my baby – You wait for her to run to the door and see you, it's sad. Just heartbroken, absolutely heartbroken. We didn’t need this to happen.
We, the undersigned, urge the authorities in Australia to take notice of this matter and ensure the person responsible is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Coco was a gentle, happy and adorable dog and certainly did not deserve any of this.
The person behind this clearly has no respect for life in any shape or form. This is why we must unite and take action!
