I set up this campaign because I am truly fed up with the Neymar saga and believe it must reach its natural conclusion as soon as possible: and that is getting Neymar back to his former club, Barcelona.
Why do I believe this? First of all, I am truly tired of Barcelona's mundane and highly inefficient style of play, obviously too depended on Lionel Messi; when Messi is not in shape, there is no one around to carry the burden; the team needs another guy to create his own shot - and that guy should be Neymar. To continue with, Messi, arguably the best player in the world, will not be around much longer, he is age will soon become a factor and he will no longer be able to provide consistent minutes in the future, as he does know; we must ensure his legacy will not be in vein. The time to win is now, while this fabulous guy is still in play. Don't get me wrong, De Jonk, Fati Dembele are great prospects, but they represent the future. Barcelona must think on the short term; and after Messi retires, we will have all he time in the world to rebuild.
Do I dislike Neymar's. character? Who doesn't!
Do I believe it's expensive to bring him back? Of course!
But do I believe this guy is a game changer? Yes!
And more important, Lionel Messi wants him back!
